Little Rock, AR – Herschel H. Friday, distinguished attorney and former managing partner of Friday, Eldredge & Clark has been posthumously inducted into the Arkansas Bar Association Legal Hall of Fame. A formal ceremony honoring Mr. Friday’s induction was held on Thursday, September 12th, at the Robinson Center in Little Rock.

Most recently, Hannah served as a Staff Attorney for the Honorable Richard D. Taylor of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. Prior to that, she clerked for the Honorable Sidney A. Fitzwater of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the Honorable P.K. Holmes, III of the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas.

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Melody Pruitt Guffey, an Associate in the Medical Malpractice Group, recently demonstrated her litigation skills at the prestigious ABOTA National Trial College, hosted at Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago. This invitation-only program, which selects top attorneys based on their significant litigation experience, offered an intensive week of instruction and hands-on practice.

Logan has experience across all stages of litigation and alternative dispute resolution, leveraging his advanced proficiency in eDiscovery. Notably Logan has successfully defended numerous Fortune 500 companies in products liability lawsuits, helped secure a substantial recovery for a medical device manufacturer in a contract dispute and negotiated a favorable settlement for a pharmaceutical company. He also provided regular advice to clients in emerging industries such as gambling and cryptocurrency.

Friday, Eldredge & Clark welcomes our summer II law clerks. Seven ambitious students join our firm for the opportunity to apply their legal education in a real-world setting. Each clerk will work closely with the firm’s partners, associates, and administrative professionals to further our goal of providing clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. The program will include opportunities to attend court proceedings, hearings, inspections, jury trials, Arkansas Bar Association events, pro bono opportunities, and more.
