Little Rock, AR – Jamie Jones was sworn in as President of the Arkansas Bar Association on June 13, 2025, during the Association’s Annual Meeting at Oaklawn Resort in Hot Springs.
Jamie has been an active member of the Arkansas Bar Association since passing the bar in 2003. Over the years, she has served in a variety of leadership roles, including tenured delegate in the House of Delegates, Board of Governors member, and chair of several committees. She is a two-term former member of the Arkansas Bar Foundation Board of Directors and currently serves as a Fellow. Jamie is also a Past President of the Arkansas Association of Defense Counsel and holds leadership roles with the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel.
At the firm, Jamie focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and class actions. She is recognized for her work in e-discovery, regulatory litigation, and high-stakes defense matters across a range of industries.
In addition to her professional leadership, Jamie is involved in several community organizations. She recently completed terms as Chair of the Board of Directors for the American Heart Association, Central Arkansas, and President of the National Charity League, Little Rock Chapter. Her community involvement has also included board service with the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, the Junior League of Little Rock, and Leadership Greater Little Rock.
Jamie holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arkansas and a J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law. Originally from Rogers, Arkansas, she has lived and practiced in Little Rock since graduating law school. As part of her term as President, Jamie has launched a new podcast series, ArkBar On Air: The President’s Mic, to engage members in timely conversations on legal issues impacting the profession statewide and nationally.
