BIOGRAPHY
David D. Wilson is a partner in the firm’s litigation section, with over 34 years of experience as a trial lawyer. He has tried over 80 state and federal trials in the Arkansas courts in areas of business/commercial litigation and personal injury matters, including business torts, contract disputes, legal malpractice, trademarks, trade secrets, product liability, fiduciary duty breach, tax disputes, embezzlement, and trust/estate disputes. David has tried numerous multi-million dollar cases involving retailer/vendor contract disputes. He represented retailer Dillard’s, Inc. in a jury trial in a lawsuit over a software licensing agreement between software company i2, Inc. and Dillard’s, involving claims of fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets and breach of contract. A Texas jury ruled in favor of Dillard’s and awarded Dillard’s $88 million in actual damages and $150 million in punitive damages. He represented a client who was defrauded by a business associate and an Arkansas jury awarded his client $4.6 million in actual damages and $39 million in punitive damages.
David is honored to be a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He is listed among The Best Lawyers in America in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Bet-the-Company Litigation, and Personal Injury Litigation-Defense, and the 2025 “Lawyer of the Year” in Personal Injury Litigation - Defendants in Little Rock. Chambers USA ranks him as a "Leader in the Field" in the area of commercial litigation. He is recognized by Mid-South Super Lawyers and named one of the "Top 50 Arkansas Super Lawyers" in the area of business, trust and estate litigation.
