Attorney Jamie Huffman Jones is the recipient of the 2021 Golden Gavel Award given by the Arkansas Bar Association. She is being honored for her valued contributions as the Co-Chair of the group's annual meeting that is being held virtually this week.

Readers of AY Magazine have voted Lynda M. Johnson, Khayyam M. Eddings and Amie K. Wilcox to their 2021 Best Lawyers List. Khay is listed for his work in both education and labor law while Lynda and Amie are named for their work in health care law.

Erin A. James has joined Friday, Eldredge and Clark's Rogers office where she will be the newest associate in the mergers and acquisitions practice group. Her practice will involve all aspects of business mergers and acquisitions, general business formation and choice of entities, including structuring, due diligence, negotiation and documentation.

Attorney Amie K. Alexander has been recognized as one of the Outstanding Pro Bono Attorneys of the Year. The honor is given each year by the Legal Aid of Arkansas on Law Day to honor those attorneys who have dedicated their time to those in need.

Attorney Lindsey Emerson Raines serves as the firm’s team captain in the 2021 Central Arkansas Heart Walk. The fundraiser, an annual event for benefiting the American Heart Association, has raised more than $181,000 so far this year. Fundraising efforts began in February and continue through Saturday, April 24 at the actual Heart Walk that will take place at Chenal Promenade.
