At Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP, we are dedicated to fostering fairness and inclusivity within the legal profession. Our Friday Forward Fellowship is designed to support aspiring law students from diverse backgrounds by providing them with the resources and mentorship necessary for success.
Program Overview
The Friday Forward Fellowship aims to increase the representation of individuals from various backgrounds in law schools and, ultimately, in the legal field. We recognize the value of including individuals with diverse experiences, including but not limited to differences in race, ethnicity, gender identity, military service, socioeconomic status, faith and beliefs, disability status, and upbringing. Our commitment is to identify and support these individuals in Arkansas colleges and universities by offering financial assistance and mentorship to inspire a more comprehensive representation in the Arkansas legal profession.
Benefits
LSAT Preparation Support: Fellows receive financial aid to attend an LSAT prep course through Kaplan, choosing from On Demand, Live Online, or In Person options.
Personalized Mentorship: Each Fellow is paired with a dedicated attorney from our firm who provides guidance throughout their law school journey, offering advice and support to help them excel academically and professionally.
Clerkship Interview Opportunity: Fellows have the chance to interview for a clerkship position at our firm during their law school tenure, providing practical experience and exposure to the legal environment.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be current students or recent graduates of a four-year college or university in Arkansas, have a genuine interest in pursuing a legal career, and plan to take the LSAT in the upcoming summer or fall semester.
Application Process
A committee composed of our attorneys, Arkansas law school administrators, and faculty members selects up to 10 Fellows each academic year.

Law Firm Antiracism Alliance: As a charter member, we collaborate with other law firms nationwide to advance equal justice in the legal profession.
Support for Educational Programs: We sponsor programs such as the Summer Pre-Law Program at the University of Arkansas (SPPARK) and Lawyers Beyond Siloes at the UA Little Rock Bowen School of Law, aiming to cultivate a more inclusive legal community.
