All lawyers at Friday, Eldredge & Clark are long-term investments for the firm, and we prioritize the professional development of each attorney. For this reason, each new associate is mentored and supported by a partner. We also provide a set of structured training sessions lead by industry leaders. These are open to all attorneys at the firm and are scheduled on a regular basis to keep professional development in the forefront. Some courses include topics such as marketing and business development, ethics, client representation, billing and accountability, drafting business plans, evaluating cases, public speaking, and leadership. Our trial lawyers attend monthly training sessions on substantive areas of trial practice. Our lawyers regularly attend and speak at national conferences where they keep up with the current trends in their practice areas.

Our Clerkship Program is a vital component of our recruiting and hiring efforts. It provides hands‑on real work assignments in a variety of practice areas. The Clerkship Program includes four sessions. We offer full-time positions during two six-week summer sessions that fall on either side of the Fourth of July holiday. We also offer part-time positions during the spring and fall semesters. We hire Law Clerks for both our Little Rock and Rogers offices.
We conduct on-campus interviews in February and September at the University of Arkansas School of Law and at the UA Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. We also welcome direct applications from students at other law schools.
