Friday, Eldredge & Clark Welcomes Five New Associates

Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP announces the addition of five new associates: Michael Cathey, Evan Nelson, Steven Benson, and Maci O’Neal in the Little Rock office, and Minoah Milam in the Rogers office.

Michael Cathey joins the firm as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, where he handles insurance defense, personal injury, products liability, and coverage disputes. Prior to joining the firm, he served as a judge advocate in the United States Marine Corps, working as both a prosecutor and defense counsel with assignments across the Indo-Pacific. He earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law and a bachelor’s degree in history from Hendrix College, and in 2024 was honored as the Marine Corps Defense Counsel of the Year. Evan Nelson joins the firm as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, where his work includes insurance defense, personal injury, products liability, and coverage disputes. He previously clerked for the Honorable Brian S. Miller of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Evan earned both his J.D. and M.B.A. from Emory University and holds a B.A. from Ouachita Baptist University. Learn more about Evan: here

Steven Benson joins the firm as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, where his practice includes insurance defense, personal injury, products liability, and coverage matters. He previously served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joseph J. Volpe of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Steven earned his J.D. from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration from Ouachita Baptist University, where he was also a member of the football team. Maci O’Neal joins the Little Rock office as an associate in the Litigation Practice Group, where her work includes insurance defense, personal injury, products liability, and coverage matters. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Louisiana Tech University. Minoah Milam joins the firm as an associate in the Real Estate and Commercial Finance practice group, where she focuses her practice on commercial real estate transactions, financing arrangements, and other business matters. She earned her J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law and holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and finance from the University of Arkansas.
