Labor & Employment Practice Group Welcomes New Counsel Liz K. Harris

Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP is pleased to announce that Liz K. Harris has joined the firm as an associate in the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Liz will focus her practice on representing employers in court and before administrative agencies on a wide range of employment claims.

Prior to joining the firm, Liz served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Jerome T. Kearney, Chief Magistrate Judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas. Liz also previously worked as an attorney for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, focusing on federal contract law, and gained appellate experience as a clerk to the Honorable Lavenski R. Smith, former Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Earlier in her career, Liz served as an AmeriCorps attorney at the Center for Arkansas Legal Services. Following her admission to the bar, she briefly clerked at the Arkansas Court of Appeals.

Liz earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law, where she served as Notes and Comments Editor for the UA Little Rock Law Review. She also holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
