Tim Ezell, a partner in the firms Little Rock office, was honored by his selection as a member of the 26th class of the Leadership Greater Little Rock. 

Since 1985, Leadership Greater Little Rock has graduated over 1,250 community leaders. Each class is comprised of approximately 50 members selected from hundreds of applicants. During the 9 month program, the class meets at various Central Arkansas venues and, via expert speakers, panels, tours and presentations, explores topics in history, community, education, government, criminal justice, healthcare, military, economic development and quality of life.

"The House passed the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act (H.R. 5297) on June 17th by a vote of 241-182. The Senate voted to end debate on the Bill on July 22nd, meaning that it now needs only a simply majority for passage. The stated purposes of the Bill include creating jobs in the private sector by expanding lending to small businesses. The Bill is designed to leverage up to $300 billion in loans for small businesses through a small business lending fund that would make capital investments in small and mediumsized community banks (banks under $10 billion in assets)."

David D. Wilson, a partner in the firm's Little Rock office, represented Dillard's, Inc. along with Texas counsel Susman Godfrey, LLP, in a jury trial involving a dispute over a software licensing agreement between JDA Software Group Inc. and Dillard's.
