Erin A. James has joined Friday, Eldredge and Clark's Rogers office where she will be the newest associate in the mergers and acquisitions practice group. Her practice will involve all aspects of business mergers and acquisitions, general business formation and choice of entities, including structuring, due diligence, negotiation and documentation. Erin will also represent client in all areas of taxation, including income taxation of individuals and corporate and other business entities; state and local taxation and tax incentives; tax controversies; and non-profit and tax-exempt entities.
Erin joined the firm after receiving her Master of Laws in Taxation in taxation from the University of Florida Levin College of Law last month. She earned her law degree and business law certificate from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2020 and is a graduate of University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Sociology and Political Science.
