Wyck Nisbet Awarded For Work With Downtown Little Rock Partnership

February 12, 2021

Attorney A. Wyckliff Nisbet Jr has been involved with the Downtown Little Partnership (DLRP) since 1990 and his commitment to the organization was awarded recently with the dedication of a plaque in his honor. The plaque is located in the Baker’s Alley behind the Arkansas Repertory Theatre in Little Rock and is also dedicated to former board member Rett Tucker. (Pictured below with Wyck)

Wyck has been on the Board of Directors for the DLRP since 1994, was President from 2010-2012 and has been a driving force behind many of the development of Downtown Little Rock.

“Over the last 30 years the Downtown Little Rock Partnership has been behind major projects like the River Market District, the Clinton Library, Heifer International and more recently the Main Street Creative Corridor and the Main Street Food Truck Festival.  I am most impressed with what the partnership has done to support the arts in the downtown Little Rock area – the art installations you see from the sculptures, paintings, murals and statues, are the result of the partnership’s efforts.”

Wyck has practiced law at Friday, Eldredge & Clark since 1974 and is focused on employee benefits and estate planning. He has more than 46 years representing employers in the design, implementation and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans, non-qualified deferred compensation and executive compensation.
