Friday Cares Raises $5,500 To Help Combat Hunger In Ark

December 21, 2020

Some good news to end 2020: Our annual Friday Cares Holiday Donation Drive raised more then $5,500 to help feed those struggling with hunger in Arkansas. We also collected non-perishable food items that, along with the money raised, was sent to the Arkansas Foodbank, The Salvation Army of Northwest Arkansas and the Junior Auxiliary of Saline County.

Friday Cares is the firm's unified effort to benefit a particular group or organization in our community through annual fundraising efforts and donation drives. This year we choose to help those struggling with hunger in Arkansas.

Every year in Arkansas, 1 in 6 adults and 1 in 4 children struggle with hunger in Arkansas. That number has only increased this year due to unemployment rates at an all-time high due to the pandemic. During the holiday season, the need to help these families only increases as children are out of school and unable to receive free school meals. We are proud to be able do our part to help those in need.
