Attorneys Amie K. Alexander and Allison C. Pearson with Friday, Eldredge & Clark donated their time this Saturday, February 22 to help the low-income residents of El Dorado with will preparation services through the Super Saturday Event.
“We had a great day and great turnout, Amie said. “Each client we saw was very excited to be able to plan and execute the document while they were there, and talked with us about how this step would provide some security and clarity for their lives moving forward.”
Allison has been a part of the event since 2017 said she looks forward to it every year.
“I think it’s a great chance to help people on a very tangible level. The clients at these events are always really enjoyable to work with, and are grateful for the services we provide. There’s also a real sense of community among all the partners who work to make it happen every year.”
The program is a partnership between the firm, Arkansas Access to Justice Commission, Southern Bancorp and Entergy. Involvement in the Super Saturday events is just another example of how the firm and its attorneys are committed to providing protection of the law for all Arkansans. By working with key partners in low-income communities, attorneys are able to provide pro-bono work for families who would normally not be able to afford the service.
