On Wednesday, December 4, 2019, the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce held its 154th Annual Meeting. Friday, Eldredge and Clark Partner Kevin A. Crass, who served as Chairman of the Chamber Board of Directors in 2019, presided over the Annual Meeting which celebrated the past year’s accomplishments and announced the coming year’s priorities.
Throughout the lunch, the Chamber elected new officers and directors, looked back on event highlights and ribbon cuttings, and thanked MetRock Now Partners.
The highlight of the gathering, which was attended by more than 1000 people, was the opportunity to hear from Randall L. Stephenson, Chairman and CEO of AT&T in a “fireside” chat with Scott T Ford, Chairman and CEO of Westrock Group and a member of the AT&T Board of Directors.
“We were thrilled that Mr. Stephenson agreed to be the featured speaker at this year’s annual meeting,” said Crass, “The opportunity to hear from a national business leader of his caliber is a rare treat and something I know our members and community leaders appreciated.”
The Little Rock Regional Chamber is the principal business-driven leadership organization responsible for fostering the economic growth and development of the Little Rock region to ensure that business and industry may operate profitably and enhance the earning opportunities and quality of life for every citizen.
In concluding his term as Chair, Crass said it has been both an honor and privilege to serve in this role.
“We believe the future is bright for our region and I am proud of the role the Chamber plays through its more than 2000 members, the talented and dedicated staff and the execution of our Mission,” Crass said.
Crass is the fourth Friday, Eldredge & Clark partner to serve as chairman of the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce. Herschel H. Friday served in 1993, William J. Smith was chair in 1971 and William H. Bowen served in 1962.
