Attorney Joseph P. McKay was appointed to a three-year term on the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History Advisory Commission at Tuesday’s Little Rock City Board of Directors Meeting.

“I am proud to work with MacArthur Museum in conserving the rich military history of our state and honoring the men and women who have served our country,” Joe said.

MacArthur Museum opened in 2001 and is located in the Arsenal Building – one of central Arkansas's oldest surviving structures and the birthplace of one of this country's foremost military heroes. The overall mission of the museum is to preserve the military heritage of Arkansas and its citizens through exhibits and programing that are structured to educate, preserve and honor the state’s military past. The Advisory Commission works with the City of Little Rock and the museum’s executive director to support this mission.

Joe is a partner at Friday, Eldredge & Clark and is a member of the litigation section. He focuses on defending railroads, gun manufacturers, product liability cases, and catastrophic personal injury claims.

Joe is a 1988 graduate of West Point, the United States Military Academy. Before joining the firm, he served as an Officer in the United States Army and is a combat veteran of the Persian Gulf War.
