Chambers and Partners Ranks Firm in Private Wealth Law

Chambers and Partners© has recognized Friday, Eldredge & Clark and four of the firm’s trust and estate planning attorneys in its 2018 edition of Chambers High Net Worth Guide.

The guide covers private wealth management work in key areas around the world, and its rankings are based on extensive research and in-depth interviews with clients and industry leaders.  The firm received the highest ranking level awarded by Chambers.

The attorneys named “leaders in their fields” are: Thomas Baxter,  J. Lee Brown,  Sarah Cotton Patterson and Byron M. Eiseman Jr.

Tom is the head of the Trust and Estate Planning Practice Group, serves on the firm’s Management Committee and is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He focuses his practice on tax planning for individuals and businesses, estate planning, the administration of trusts and estates, and probate matters. He also represents clients in state and local tax matters, tax controversies, and issues of general business and corporate taxation, including matters with the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration and the Internal Revenue Service.

Lee, a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, concentrates his practice on estate planning, tax, corporate, real estate and nonprofit matters. He serves private clients in the areas of estate planning, wills and trusts, probate and small business planning. He counsels corporate and business clients regarding tax planning, corporate and entity formation, and tax-exempt organizations and related matters.

Sarah has practiced law for 17 years and is a part of the Trust and Estate Planning Practice Group with the firm. She is a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and focuses her practice on estate, trust and tax matters for individuals, as well as entity formation and business planning. She also advises non-profit and tax-exempt organizations on formation, planning and tax issues.

Byron, a former managing partner of the firm, concentrates his practice on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures and on estate planning, probate and estate administration and taxation. He is a Fellow in the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel and a Fellow in the American College of Tax Counsel.
