J. Shepherd Russell III, managing partner of Friday, Eldredge & Clark, was honored recently by the Arkansas Arts Center for his service and support of the organization.
During the annual meeting on Aug. 20, he was presented with the Winthrop Rockefeller Memorial Award by Laine Harber, interim director of the center.
The honor is given to someone who goes “above and beyond the normal call of duty as demonstrated by the late Winthrop Rockefeller,” according to the Arkansas Arts Center. The recipient is selected each year by a committee made up of past award winners.
Shep has been a supporter of the arts center for more than 30 years and has previously served as president of the Arkansas Arts Center’s board of trustees.
