Judge Brown Appointed to CALS Board of Trustees

Judge Robert L. Brown has been appointed to serve on the Central Arkansas Library System Board of Trustees. Judge Brown currently serves as counsel for the firm and previously served as an Associate Justice on the Arkansas Supreme Court from 1991 to 2012. 

Judge Brown replaces the position previously held by Attorney Frederick S. Ursery who served from 2011-2017.

The Central Arkansas Library System Board of Trustees is responsible for establishing all policies and services of the Library system, which includes the Main Library, Aerospace Education Center Library, Brown Library, Fletcher Library, Maumelle Public Library, Terry Library, Sanders Library (Sherwood), Nixon Library (Jacksonville), Milam Library (Perryville) and Williams Library. The Board of Trustees consists of six residents of the City of Little Rock (appointed by the Little Rock City Board of Directors) and three residents of Pulaski or Perry County, exclusive of North Little Rock (appointed by the Pulaski County Judge, with approval of the Pulaski County Court and the advice of the Perry County Judge).
