In the Inaugural edition of The Arkansas 200, published by Arkansas Business, Attorneys Shepherd Russell, Jim Simpson, Laura Smith, Price Gardner and Marvin Childers are recognized as among the state's top influencers.
According to Christopher R. Bahn, publisher of Arkansas Business special publications, the list includes those who influence the way we live, learn and do business in Arkansas. "We looked for influencers making an impact in multiple professional and non-profit endeavors at the local, regional and state levels." He added the edition took a year of planning and six months of research.
Shep, Jim, Laura and Price are listed as influencers in the legal community and Marvin, who is "of counsel" to the firm, is recognized for his work in the poultry and agriculture industry where he serves as president of The Poultry Federation.
