Little Rock, Arkansas - Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP is proud to announce that several members of our Medical Malpractice Group have again been honored for their outstanding work and service to the legal profession and community. Laura Smith, who is the leader of our Medical Malpractice Group, was recently inducted into the American Board of Trial Advocates. Don Bacon and Will Griffin are also members. Mr. Griffin just finished a year as President of the Pulaski County Bar Association and the William Overton Inns of Court.
Michelle Ator is currently serving as President of the Henry Woods American Inns of Court and was selected this year for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America in the area of medical malpractice. We are also proud to announce that Lindsey Lorence, a member of our practice group, was selected to become a partner of the firm this year. These are exciting times for this group's growing practice. We have added four new lawyers to our Little Rock office in the past two years. Tonia Jones and Katie Kirkpatrick have joined the Medical Malpractice Group from other areas in the firm. Ms. Jones returned to the section after working for a time in railroad litigation. Ms. Kirkpatrick came to our group from the General Litigation Group. Adam Wells joined our group in May 2005. Brad Runyon joined us in August 2007. They are both 2005 graduates of the University of Arkansas School of Law and have already gained tremendous experience handling medical malpractice cases since both have devoted their practice entirely to this area of the law. We are pleased to report that our Fayetteville office is also growing. Cliff Plunkett has handled medical malpractices cases for several years out of our Fayetteville office. The need for malpractice lawyers has continued to grow and Jason Hendren will be joining Mr. Plunkett in early 2008. Both are experienced attorneys who will be able to handle the growing needs of medical care providers in Northwest Arkansas.
