Attorneys Selected to the AMP 2021 Legal Elite

Arkansas Money & Politics readers have chosen the 2021 Legal Elite in this month’s issue of the magazine. Friday, Eldredge & Clark Attorneys Price C. Gardner, Alexandra A. Ifrah and Khayyam M. Eddings were listed among the annual list.

Price serves as the firm's managing partner. His work focuses on corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, asset dispositions, taxation, real estate transactions, nonprofit organizations, financings and healthcare transactions and related matters.

Price has extensive experience in representation of parties in corporate and pass-through entity formations, operations, reorganizations and disputes; merger and asset purchase and sale transactions; the formation and syndication of healthcare entities such as practice groups, surgery centers, and hospitals; real estate and like-kind Section 1031 exchange transactions; and debt and equity financings.

Alex is a partner in the Employee Benefits Practice Group of Friday, Eldredge & Clark and serves on the firm's Management Committee. Since joining the firm in 1999, Alexandra has concentrated her practice on the representation of employers from a myriad of industries in complex employee benefits, taxation and executive compensation matters. Alexandra has extensive experience in the design, implementation, compliance and administration of tax-qualified retirement plans (including profit sharing plans, 401(k) plans, defined benefit plans and ESOPs) and nonqualified deferred compensation plans for both large and small business organizations, including governmental and non-profit organizations. Alexandra also has extensive experience in the design, implementation, compliance and administration of health and welfare benefit plans, including group health plans, cafeteria plans, health savings accounts and fringe benefit plans. Alexandra advises clients on all health and welfare benefit plan compliance issues, including helping employers understand their obligations under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), with the regulatory requirements of wellness programs under HIPAA and the ADA and with requirements under applicable federal and state laws regulating welfare benefit plans.

Khay  is a partner in the Labor and Employment Litigation Practice Group where he counsels employers in all aspects of the labor and employment laws including compliance with Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Family Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, National Labor Relations Act and the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Khay also represents school districts throughout the state of Arkansas with respect to constitutional law matters, claims under the Arkansas Teacher Fair Dismissal Act, the Arkansas Public School Fair Hearing Act, issues involving Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).

His practice includes the representation of clients in state and federal courts, before administrative bodies such as the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and before arbitrators.
