Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP is proud to announce the Women’s Foundation of Arkansas (WFA) has named the firm the recipient of the 2021 Olivia Farrell Gender Equity Leadership Award. The award was announced Wednesday, March 3 at the 33rd Annual Arkansas Business of the Year Awards Celebration in Little Rock.
The Gender Equity Leadership Award is an award that recognizes workplaces that create and foster a gender equitable business environment and businesses that believe in the values of equality and equity.
The WFA developed “The Gender Equity Scorecard” in conjunction with a team from the Clinton School of Public Service in 2018 to evaluate areas where a company is excelling at creating gender equity in the workplace that include financial literacy, job skills, mentoring and resources. Attorney Michelle Ator lead the firm’s response in completing the scorecard and WFA conducted interviews with firm employees. Attorney Jamie Jones accepted the award which was presented by Mitch Bettis, President and Publisher at Arkansas Business.
At Friday, Eldredge & Clark, we pride ourselves on promoting the development of women lawyers and professionals and addressing diversity and inclusion in the workplace and our community.
