Trust and Estate Planning Attorney Katie M. Eaves spoke recently to nonprofit organizations at two events in Northwest Arkansas.
In April, she spoke to the members of the Leadership Benton County at the Center for Non Profits in Rogers about board member responsibilities and board member roles. In May, Katie was part of an all-day nonprofit board certification class hosted by the Rogers/Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce. The event was held at the U of A Global Campus in Rogers. Her focus at this event was on the financial considerations of board service.
Katie is an associate in the firm’s Trust and Estate Planning Practice Group. She received a master’s degree in taxation from the University of Florida. Katie concentrates her practice in estate planning, trust and estate administration, probate matters, estate and gift taxation and formation and planning for exempt organizations.
