Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP welcomes three new attorneys to the firm: Joshua C. Ashley, Kyle D. Kennedy and Taylor A. Stockemer.
Joshua C. Ashley joins the firm’s Railroad Litigation Practice Group. Before joining the firm, Ashley clerked for the Honorable Susan O. Hickey of the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, the Honorable D.P. Marshall Jr. of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas and the Honorable Lavenski R. Smith of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. He also practiced oil-and-gas and complex commercial litigation in Texas. Josh, who is a native of Texarkana, TX, graduated with honors from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2011 and received his undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University.

Kyle D. Kennedy is the newest associate in the General Litigation Practice Group. His primary focus is on defending companies against all types of personal injury claims. Kyle, who is originally from Conway, recently graduated magna cum laude from the University of Arkansas School of Law and earned his undergraduate degree at the university in 2013. During law school he worked as a legal extern for Walmart where he focused his efforts in employment law. He was responsible for identifying both state and federal labor law compliance matters and assisted in the development, mitigation and prevention of compliance concerns.

Taylor A. Stockemer joins the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group where he is working with individuals, companies and financial institutions in general business, transactional and regulatory matters. Prior to joining the firm, Taylor worked at an investment banking firm in the capital markets division where he assisted with the underwriting of municipal bonds. Taylor, a native of Fort Smith, earned his law degree from UALR Bowen School of Law and graduated from Arkansas State University in 2013 with a Master of Business Administration and in 2011 with an undergraduate degree in economics.
