Marshall S. Ney's litigation practice emphases are in complex and commercial disputes, education law, employment claims and insurance coverage issues. His litigation experience is extensive and includes class action litigation, noncompetition agreements, trade secrets, corporate dissolutions, discrimination suits, education law and bad faith claims. Marshall has over 20 years of litigation experience and also served as Associate General Counsel for a fortune 10 company with responsibility for commercial, employment and personal injury litigation. Presently he serves as counsel for one of the states largest school districts. Marshall was named Lawyer of the Year in the area of Litigation-Labor and Employment, listed in The Best Lawyers In America.
Carla G. Spainhour joined the firm in 1992 and focuses her practice on taxation, estate and business planning, HIPAA compliance and legal counsel for closely held companies and physicians groups. Having worked several years as a CPA, before entering law school, Carla has a practical perspective in assisting clients. In addition to her corporate practice, she devotes a significant amount of time to counseling clients regarding the planning of their estates. Carla has served on several boards, including the Volunteers in Public Schools, Arkansas Society of Women Accountants, UAMS Consortium and Arkansas Rice Depot.
