Amie Schoeppel Wilcox to Receive Outstanding Pro Bono Service Lawyer Award

Little Rock, AR – Amie Schoeppel Wilcox has been honored with the "Outstanding Pro Bono Service Lawyer - Large Firm" award by Arkansas Access to Justice. This award, which will be formally presented during the Arkansas Access to Justice Fall Reception on October 3rd, recognizes attorneys from large firms who have made exceptional contributions to pro bono legal services in Arkansas.

Amie’s pro bono efforts include serving as Vice Chair and a founding board member of the Arkansas  Appleseed Legal Justice Center. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Legal Aid of Arkansas and has been instrumental in organizing "Super Saturday" clinics in partnership with Southern Bancorp, providing critical services to low-income communities. Most recently, she has worked with the University of Arkansas Law School’s Entrepreneurial Law Project to recruit pro bono attorneys. She also serves on the Arkansas Bar Association’s Editorial Advisory Board. 

Notably, Amie has been named "Ones to Watch" by Best Lawyers in America for healthcare law in 2022 - 2025.  Amie is a graduate of Class XXXVIII of Leadership Greater Little Rock and the third class of the Public Service Academy sponsored by the Arkansas Bar Association and the Clinton School of Public Service. 

Amie focuses her practice on healthcare regulatory and compliance matters such as HIPAA, Stark I and Stark II, Anti-Kickback, Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement, and physician and hospital organization issues. She represents hospitals, physician groups, and other medical service providers. Additionally, she works with employers on employment-based immigration matters.

Arkansas Access to Justice, a nonprofit organization, is dedicated to expanding access to legal services for low-income Arkansans, and this award reflects Amie’s commitment to ensuring justice for all through her pro bono work.
