Friday, Eldredge & Clark is pleased to announce the firm's sole practicing Certified Mediator with the Arkansas Supreme Court, James "Jim" M. Simpson.
Jim is a partner in the litigation group with an extensive bio that includes more than 160 jury trials in business litigation and personal injury matters. Jim has nearly 45 years of experience as a trial lawyer. Now, as a mediator, he hopes to bring resolution to conflicts before they reach the courtroom.
"Mediation is an imperative day in a lawsuit," said Jim. "People get closure, or at least a better understanding of their case."
Jim is an attorney in the firm's Little Rock office, where his peers have noted him as being "clever, tough, but never arrogant." He is a fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the International Academy of Trial Lawyers and the American Board of Trial Advocates. Jim has also had the honor of serving as the President of the Arkansas Bar Association.
