Attorneys Participate in Tax Event for Ark Society of CPAs

Attorneys Robert T. Smith and Blake D. Lewis presented at the Arkansas Society of CPA’s 57th Annual Arkansas Federal Tax Institute. Additionally, Blake served as co-chair to the two-day event. Robert spoke about reasonable compensation and Blake’s presentation focused on the centralized partnership audit regime.

Robert is a partner in the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. His diverse corporate practice focuses on representing individuals, companies, and financial institutions in general business, transactional, securities and regulatory matters. He has handled transactions in a variety of industries including the banking, healthcare, real estate and technology industries.

Blake is an associate in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group. Blake's practice focuses on taxation, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, tax controversies, entity formation and governance, and franchising.
