Amy C. Markham is a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. She focuses her practice on insurance defense, workers’ compensation defense, products liability, fire/arson investigation and defense, and catastrophic personal injury defense.
Prior to joining the firm Amy was a partner at Spicer Rudstrom’s Little Rock Office where she was a Managing Member and assisted in opening that firm’s Little Rock office. Amy has established herself as a trusted advocate for self-insureds and insurance companies and their insureds, handling high-stakes cases involving significant financial implications. Amy has vast experience leading real-time scene and catastrophic accident investigations and inspections for her clients. Amy has lead defense experience in key matters where potential damages were valued in the millions of dollars. Amy’s ability to minimize damages and successfully defend against lawsuits has consistently delivered favorable outcomes for her clients. She has negotiated settlements bringing high exposure cases to closure for less than case value, demonstrating her exceptional negotiation skills.
Amy was appointed by Travelers Insurance as one of three attorneys in Arkansas to handle construction defect litigation matters. This recognition further solidifies her reputation as a skilled and trusted attorney.
Amy earned her J.D. from the William H. Bowen School of Law in 2002. She attended Ouachita Baptist University and obtained her B.A. in accounting from Pikeville College.
