Kimberly D. Young is a senior member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Her practice focuses on complex civil litigation, including defending gas and electrical utilities for over twenty years, handling high-stakes product liability cases, such as those involving pharmaceuticals and medical devices, and navigating multi-district litigation. Kim also represents providers of behavioral healthcare services to adults and adolescents.
Kim represents insured individuals and companies in a broad range of personal injury, wrongful death, and property damage cases, and routinely works with insurers and their policyholders to evaluate pre-suit demands and defend litigation.
In addition to her trial work, Kim maintains an active appellate practice. She has argued cases before the Arkansas Court of Appeals, the Supreme Court of Arkansas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. She frequently serves as appellate counsel both for Friday, Eldredge & Clark trial teams and for outside firms seeking experienced guidance on complex appeals or local counsel expertise.
Committed to service beyond the courtroom, Kim also provides pro bono legal representation, including guardianship matters, through the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Medical-Legal Partnership.
