Evan is an Associate in the firm’s Litigation group, where he focuses his practice on commercial and general civil litigation matters.
Evan handles disputes involving contract and business tort claims, construction and real estate matters, property damage, civil rights litigation, personal injury, product liability, and trust and nonprofit issues. He represents clients through every stage of litigation, securing early dismissals, summary judgment, a favorable jury verdict, and dispositive equitable relief. His experience includes defending closely held businesses and public and private entities against high-exposure claims, resolving high-stakes matters through strategic negotiations, and achieving favorable outcomes in real estate and land-use disputes.
Evan also represents insurers and their insureds in complex liability and coverage disputes. He approaches each matter with an emphasis on early case assessment, strategic motion practice, and efficient resolution consistent with client business objectives.
Prior to joining the firm, Evan clerked for the Honorable Brian S. Miller of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas.
Evan earned his J.D., with honors, and M.B.A. from Emory University and his B.A., magna cum laude, from Ouachita Baptist University.
